This year marks the 50th anniversary of the first data collection of the National Travel Survey (NTS). Over the last 50 years, the NTS has provided valuable data for a range of users both within and outside the Department for Transport. This seminar will look at how personal travel has changed from the time of the first survey, give examples of how NTS data has been used to inform transport policy and provide an opportunity for users to give views on their need for NTS data in the future.
